rewind pt5

This is an old post that I started but never finished cause I couldn't get to a mac to upload photos from my camera onto...

Since I've come back to Canada I've:

- Lived with my parents long enough to finish some work for the Armory:

Here are some pics of the installation at the Armory... I didn't make it down there in person, thanks to my buddies Shauna and Brett for the photos...

Thats Zak's stuff on the right hand side there, I really wish i had a better shot of it...

- Set up a new studio in Toronto:

Here's my studiomate Tami, the room is split down the middle...She's got that red-eye thing going on in this pic... Wait, no, the picture is black and white. Why is this picture black and white?

This is the view from the fire escape, the studio is on the 8th floor of an industrial-ish building...

- Taken in some Jello Wrestling:

- Slept on a lot of couches/floors/other people's beds...

I've also drawn almost non-stop, i've posted a bit, and I'll keep posting more...

The Book of Love? If it's the one by Nicole Krauss, you have good taste. Nice to see that you're drinking water.

The armory pieces are hella dope. I like the ones I hadn't seen. I recognize one of those couches. It was once mine.

Damn dude. Good. NEEDS MORE JELLO though. Seriously, great work Nick. I have a blog, but it is more like "Perverted Justice" without the "Justice".

Cheers, Craig

Hey Nick!
I like this post because I can see what you're doing in Canada without me, but I don't like it because it makes me miss you. But I like it because you didn't tell me the jello girls were so hot and you can go to hell.

Just about a month left!
Love,
Caroltn

dude what paint do you use? since chromacolour doesn't sell in stores....

Nicholas Di Genova said...

I get my chromacolour online at www.chromacolour.com

When you order it, overnight delivery really means a week, and 1 week delivery really means a month...

Jeez, this website remembers me? I didn't even know I had a blogger account!? Ah well. Seems times are busy, which is great. The work looks great. I was like, 4 days late on the old FF in NY, but I gave them a call and they sounded happy to have you ;-) Just checked out the ELEVEN street art show at Leonard Street Gallery and argued with the hot assistant about the place of graff in commercial spaces, so I'm upto my old tricks, mainly. Ciao for now.

Pssst ... don't suppose you've had time to pull off that Tetsuo-ala-Genova piece, have you? :-)

I like how you turned your parents basement into a studio when you went home.... Do you remeber the time we played "Hide and Go Seek" ... but matt and michelle never came to look for us....they sucked at that game!
