Show up at the Whitney

My Cerberus piece is on display at the Whitney, its in a group show that will be up until February 17th. Here is their little blurb for the show on their site:

Two Years
on view October 17, 2007 - February 17, 2008

Acquisitions for the permanent collection are at the heart of the Museum's mission to present the work of American artists in the contexts of the present and the past, and in anticipation of the future. Two Years brings on view important gifts and purchases from 2006 and 2007.

I always wondered if the Whitney fucked up, assuming I was American, but I'm sure they do their research and it turns out there is another Canadian in the show as well. I'm going to be in NYC at the end of January, and I'm pretty excited to check out the show...

You can check out the Whitney's website here, and my piece got mentioned in a review, here.

Also, Andrew Wilson started a blog as well, and it is WAY better than mine...

“America the Rabid Guard Dog of Global Capitalism” - I never knew your art was so deep. Then again, I didn't even think you could tie your own shoe.

In conclusion, I guess we were asking for it by choosing red, white and blue.

A

ps. I'm still not sure if you're capable of handling that shoe thing.

pps. I really like the colours in your work, but I think you have to get a new inker.

ppps. Thanks for linking my blog in this post.

With havin so much written content do you ever run into any
issues of plagorism or copyright infringement?
My blog has a lot of unique content I've either created myself or outsourced but it looks like a lot of it is popping it up all over the web without my permission. Do you know any techniques to help reduce content from being ripped off? I'd definitely appreciate it.

I comment when I like a post on a website or I have something to valuable to contribute to
the conversation. Usually it's triggered by the passion displayed in the article I read. And after this article "Show up at the Whitney". I was actually excited enough to drop a leave a responsea response :-) I do have a couple of questions for you if it's okay.
Could it be only me or do some of these responses appear as if they are left by brain
dead people? :-P And, if you are writing at additional social
sites, I would like to keep up with you. Could you list all of all your community sites like your
twitter feed, Facebook page or linkedin profile?

Did you hire out a designer to create your theme?
Exceptional work!
